Currency and conversion
Record the currency being sent and received. A dollar sign alone can refer to AUD or another currency, and conversion margins may sit outside a headline transfer fee.
Approval versus arrival
A provider’s approval timestamp and a bank’s credit timestamp are different events. Ask which event starts the published window and whether weekends or public holidays are excluded.
Do not send money to an individual’s personal account, an unexplained replacement recipient or a wallet supplied only in a chat message. Pause and independently verify any changed payment instruction.
